About Uganda rural area churches network

URACN  is a network of Upcoming Pentecostal Churches and Ministries in Uganda committed to the Bible as the inspiring word of God and  focused to empower its member churches/ministries to develop, become self reliant and eliminate the mistakes pastors have been doing.

 

How Uganda Rural Area Churches Network started.

Uganda Rural Area Churches Network Started as i was interacting with the Rural Area Church/ministry Leaders by opening up the pulpit for them to minister though they were denied chances by prominent Pastors in the city to minister in their churches, I found out that Rural Area Church/ministry Leaders and Ministers were making many mistakes not because they tend to do so, but because they lack basic biblical and leadership training ,so i felt concern and prayed for them  and as I was praying, the Holy Spirit convicted me to meet them and share  about their mistakes. We shared and agreed to form a Uganda Rural Area Churches Network  With a Mission of bringing the Uganda Rural Area Church leaders and Ministers together In order to be Trained, equipped, encouraged and helped to eliminate the mistakes done.

THE ACHIEVEMENTS.

1. More than 500 churches and Ministries in Rural Areas have joined the Network.
2. Last year we started up a sister Network called Uganda Upcoming Churches Network.

Uganda Upcoming Churches Network is also a Network of Small and Medium churches and ministries around the Capital city of Uganda and towns. It started when the city, Small towns and Medium Upcoming church/ministry Leaders saw the great work done in Uganda Rural Area Churches Network and requested to join this was  because Uganda Rural Area Churches Network was focusing on Rural Area Churches, we decided to start up a sister Network for the city, Small and Medium Upcoming churches and ministries and called it Uganda Upcoming Churches Network With the same Mission.

 

Currently

We have joined the two Networks and given a single name instead of having two Networks with different names and the name chosen is Upcoming Pentecostal Churches Network.

Our Network has more than 800 Member churches and ministries around Uganda which meet in papyrus shelters, homes, and temporary shelters.  They believe God to construct permanent buildings in the future despite the fact that 95% of our members live in extreme poverty.
